Missouri Vacation Part 1

It was short notice but we decided to take a quick trip to Missouri before Summer ended.

The whole trip was so much fun and it was great to see family.
First up was an afternoon on the water.
I couldn't get over just how ecstatic our children were.
They JUST LOVED every minute of it!

I

Luke was just so excited to be on the boat. He just got off the jet ski and couldn't stop smiling.

This is the first year Liv is breaking out of her shell.
Up until this summer she has HATED anything fast, swings, rides...
She would cry and tell Rog not to drive fast in the car, she would not even think to go on a swing or give a second thought about riding a kid ride at a park.
However, all that has changed for some reason and she couldn't wait to go 'speedier' on this.

Luke thought it was just the coolest thing to get to drive the boat.
They have a pretty great Great Aunt and Uncle when it comes to having fun!

This little baby had an extreme attachment to her Aunt Deanna.
It was 'mommy who?' while we were here.

This next pic just cracks me up. Annelyse did not fuss one time about her life jacket or the wind.
She loved everything about this.

We parked the boat and ate at a resort for dinner.
I'd say it was pleasant but I think I was taking trips with the kids to the restroom most of the time.

The view was just amazing

Annelyse let me hold her for a minute or two. Deanna was probably out of site during this pic.

While Rog was on the jet ski, Annelyse would look around for him and when she spotted him she would get giddy, wave and say, dah dah.

Liv's last ride looked as if it wore her out. We found out soon after that she had smacked her mouth pretty hard on the Jet Ski  while jumping a big wave.
Her gums were black and blue and her top tooth got pushed up and back.
Not sure what is up with our family and baby teeth.

It was such a perfect day and a great sunset to close us out.

I just can't end this post without showing a pic that explains just how the kids felt about our day.
One pic of one child sums it up for all three.

They were all just that excited!
