Sisters

There has been quite a bit of bonding time with these two girls lately!
It has been so lovely to watch and to listen as they giggle, talk, play, dance, sing and strategize together!
I have waited for these moments! They used to be faint dreams as I always wondered what Liv and Lilliana would have been like together.
God was so kind to not only add another girl to our family but give Liv two sisters to eventually have fun with!

I cherish these moments they share together!
It reminds me of being with my sisters when I was little.

So blessed!

Doing A Whole Lot Of Nothin'

Christmas break, followed by a few snow days, makes for quite a bit of down time and a whole lot of fun!

Towards the end of break, my kids were getting cabin fever but had to hold out a few more days due to the cold weather and snow.
That meant there were many hours in dress up clothes while using their imagination!
It was great that Daddy had the same time off with them because they needed someone to tackle and beat up during their play time. (smile)

I can not say we have been running around busy these days, but sitting around being busy with a house full of cabin fever kids, has definitely been filling up our schedule lately.
It might just be the best kind of busy!
Our kids have also been the best of buddies lately too. We have had a list of tattling moments but overall they make up with each other and play for hours together!

I am so thankful for days like this!

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves!!!

Half the fun of Fall is raking all the leaves.

Well, that AND getting to ride in the leaves while Daddy pulls them to the front yard for pickup.

Annelyse tried to ride too but about had a panic attack so she chose to hang out with Mommy and play with a pepper.

Raking and riding is not the end of the fun.
It's running and jumping in them before the leaves are taken away.

Yep, that's right. Liv lost her brown shoe in a bunch of brown colored leaves.
We basically had to sift through from left to right until we ran over her shoe.
Next time she is jumping without her shoes on. *grin*

What's a day outside in our yard without the rest of the neighborhood kids? They took one look at what Luke and Liv were doing and as soon as they got the nod from Rog and made sure they wouldn't get in trouble they all jumped in.

Round 2 of raking leaves should be here in just a few days.

It's a lot of hard work (so I'm told) but it's worth all the fun in the end.
