We were so excited to not only be in Missouri but to be with family that means so much to us.
We don't need to stay busy 24/7 to have a good time. We just need to be around the ones we care about and it makes a wonderful trip.
Most of our trip felt like 'down time' but it didn't matter because we seem to never get a lot of down time when we are at home.
We enjoyed sitting around with the family and enjoy simple conversation along with watching the kids play.
Annelyse did her job at keeping us all entertained
She even did high-five's for Mckinley.
We ate lunch at the Steak n Shake where Rog remembers his vacation memories as a child.
It was great seeing him reminisce with his Gram about their memories and it was good to see that our kids are experiencing some of the same.
Liv and Mckinley had matching hats so we had to show them off.
Annelyse was fond with just about everyone this week.
Austin thought he would take a turn and hold her but soon found out he had a new little buddy.
She put on such a show and cry when he would put her down.
She was a bit on the spoiled side this week.
When Annelyse wasn't being held, she was mostly sitting right here, in the kitchen, barking at the dogs.
She just LOVED the dogs and couldn't wait to get close enough.
And not forgetting this bunch.
Luke and Liv had a big sister for a few days and absolutely loved spending as much time as they could with Mckinley.
"Thanks Mckinley for being a great big sis!"
