Some days, I just can't get over how old Luke is getting. I feel like one night he went to sleep and the next morning he lost everything from his toddler days. It's so cute and yet so sad all at the same time.
In just 3 months he will be 5 years old. That just makes my head hurt trying to fathom that.
ANYWAYS. With that being said I NEED to remember our little breakfast moment that happened this morning.
Now, lately, Luke will wake up before anyone, change his clothes and head down to the kitchen where he tries to get cereal all by himself.
Today, I was helping him pour his cheerios and beginning to add the honey.
Luke: "NO NO NO! Not the honey yet, get the milk."
So, I turn, get the milk out of the fridge and begin that process.
Luke: "Ok, that's good now the honey."
Shocked that our little morning routine is getting a bit OCD I stay calm and make it the way he likes.
As soon as I start the honey process Luke looks down at his bowl with a big smile and very pleased with the process and says, "Now, THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!"
WHAT! REALLY?
I looked at him and just laughed at him because as a little girl I would watch my dad prepare his hamburger or sandwhich and after it was stacked to perfection he would show me and say, "There Aim, NOW THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!"
Could the satisfaction for putting together a meal really be hereditary?
OH, my little, BIG boy! I just love him so much! He makes me smile!
