Just having fun together

I tell you what. These two little children of mine bring such joy to my face! I had a reason for this post a couple weeks back but now, I don't feel like going into a list of details.
I love watching Luke and Liv play together. I love it now that Liv is up and around because these two are pretty much doing the same things and it is just fun to be around them. I must say that back when I was pregnant with Olivia, I had much anxiety about how I would take care of two little ones that were so close in age.
The first year of that is over and now I don't even blink an eye at it. I am so thankful that they are close in age. They pretty much have the same routine and most of the time they play well together with a little bit of screeching and pulling. (I said they play well most of the time, I didn't say they were perfect)

Luke has really grown up in the last week. I am not sure when it all started but he was with many people this last week and his vocabulary has just grown. I am not ready for all of it because it really makes him seem so much older! I am not ready to watch my little boy grow so fast.
He has been so much fun to watch though. He is such a joy and I thank the Lord for such a sweet hearted little boy. Don't get me wrong. He has his sneeky little moments.

Olivia is acting older by the day as well! This one I am definitely not ready for! She is our fiesty little fire cracker and after this last week I think Grandma and Grandpa can give a few examples. She may look sweet on the outside but try getting her to do something she doesn't want and out pours her selfish little heart. ;)
I still love her though and wouldn't trade her for anything!
Her and Luke are such a great mix. I am in serious trouble though when they start to act together on their little schemes! Luke will probably be the thinker off all of it but Liv will be the one to act it all out and not care if she gets caught.
I can only imagine what this summer has in store for us! I can't wait to be able to run after these two and play with them until we are all worn out!
