Just being a Kid!
I know it has been a while since I last posted and I know this for two reasons. The first one is because I can see the last date on the blog and the second one is that my wonderful husband has reminded me for the last oh maybe two weeks that I am really needing to update. (I think maybe someone checks the blog a bit too much? hmmm???) (I love you precious) Anyways. I told him that I just didn't have much to post lately and he then commented on how this is now becoming a "Luke" blog. So, with that said, the next few posts are going to have to be something other than Luke I guess? We will see what happens. For now though, I wanted to post this.
Last night Rog and I were relaxing downstairs when we looked down and caught Luke in the act. I was reading a magazine and Luke got a hold of another little pamphlet. I didn't care so much because I had already looked through it and there was nothing that I needed to save in it so I let him play with it. I thought "oh what is he going to do crinkle it a bit? maybe a rip here and there" well, a rip here and there and it was all over my floor! Oh well right? Rog and I liked to call it exploring or helping him learn to be creative. Not at all destructive. He was so into it too we couldn't stand but just watch him. He noticed me taking some pictures of him and he thought it was the funniest thing ever!Anyways... you have to be a bit destructive sometimes right? Maybe if adults were a little more care free there would be a bit less stress here and there?
I have been waiting on a new post for some time too! :-) That is so funny that Luke did that...Ethan has discovered paper all of a sudden now, too, and loves it--but for different reasons than tearing it up. The other day, I walked into the room to find Ethan (whom I had previously left in a sitting position with proper "baby" toys to play with) flat on his back, clear across the room (he had rolled there) with a board book in his hand...and his mouth. No big deal, I thought, until I got closer...he had eaten one entire corner of the book! (And I had been gone seriously like, 2 minutes--it's like he waited for me to leave the room and then made his move.) I got most of it--it was still in his mouth--but I know that some went down the hatch! My step mom always says that my sister ate 'a book a day' when she was a baby, and she turned out just fine...so I didn't feel too bad. Glad Luke was only tearing it! Love ya
Hey, so um, I am guessing that the flowers came from a certain husband named Rog that I know? Not like a man to toot his own horn! They are beautiful though! :-)
yeah I have a post about that dev. maybe it will have to go up in the morning? and yes rog, those are beautiful flowers on the front. Consuela said she saw them just lying on our table so she thought they would look nice in a vase???
I am an EXTREMELY, HAPPILY married woman to an AMAZING man for almost 10 years now. June 21, 2003. My husband is super supportive and does all he can to keep me where my heart is most content! AT HOME!!! I would never think of doing anything other than this! About a year into our marriage, we decided it was maybe time to start adding to our family. Our first two pregnancies ended up in miscarriage. Not too long after, God blessed us once again and on October 18 of 2006 we had Luke. Before we knew it, God decided just one wasn't enough. A mere 14 months later on December 22,2007, we were extremely blessed with a little baby girl, Olivia. As if we didn't have our hands full yet, God decided to allow me to become pregnant once more and be due to have our 3rd child around June 28, 2009. That was what we thought anyways. May 30, 2009, we had a little baby girl, Lilliana Grace. However, it was the Lord's plan to take her to be with him that day. We praise God for his comfort and Grace! And, once again, the Lord has blessed us with our 4th blessing! Annelyse was born October 20, 2010. She's a big hit around here and extremely loved by her big brother and sister!
God couldn't have blessed us at a better time! I started this blog to keep fresh all of our little family memories, good and bad. Hopefully this blog will do its job to show everyone our moments together as a family! These are the times that just so happened to be caught by a camera and that's not always an easy task! Feel free to join us in the making of family memories!
