"OH NO! HE'S STUCK!"
That's what you would think from looking at this picture right? Well, Luke sure does put on a nice dramatic show when this happens but he actually does this on purpose so we will come and rescue him from his nice, closed in, play area. I have actually put pillows in between the cracks so that he will not notice the escape routes but he easily noticed that all he needed to do was pull the pillows back and whalla! He is FREE! He did this yesterday and I thought it was the funniest thing. Rog and I were both standing there watching him and he just kept right on, trying to accomplish this task. He was pretty wedged in this time though so Rog had to pull him out. Don't worry, he wasn't hurt during this process and right when he was free he was all smiles and ready to conquer the stairs!
He is getting so big, so fast these days. He is getting smart too. You can tell when he remembers things and to me that is crazy. You wouldn't think a 10 month old would be able to remember so many little things but I guess they have to learn sometime. I think it is just so neat to watch him process what you are telling him. For examle. He is really into ducks and balls right now and if you ask him where they are at he looks at you, puts his hands in a question position, says "qack qack" and looks around for them until he finds one or the other. I love it! anyway. I am done for now until I catch Luke in another one of his unique poses!

Oh, and they are SOOOOO much smarter than we can even know!! :-) Luke is so cute and is getting so big so fast (they all are, aren't they?)

That is hilarious! I love the way they process things too and it does start so early on. A lot of the reason parents don't think they can understand is because they can't tell you, but the more Reese grows it's amazing what she can understand and how careful we have to be as well in regards to what we say. The other day I said, I hate.... and then I said some sort of food, she started saying, "I hate", I couldn't believe that she would pick up on it that fast. Anyways... anything else going on with you guys. I finally am printing off some pic's and printed on off of Reese and Luke-it's so cute.
