We started our full day of Halloween fun at Luke's school.
He had a parade in the morning so we were able to stand and watch all the kids walk by in their adorable costumes.
Luke is the spiderman.
School got out early and the kids waited ever so patiently to get all dressed up and go trick or treating. I wasn't sure how Lyse would do since she was kind of aware of what we were doing and I didn't even think she would want to be in a costume but she did great and loved every minute of it!
Nothing like having grandma stop over and deliver candy in your driveway. (Let's just say I REALLY hope my kids forget about the candy grandma gave them cause Mommy really needs to feed her candy bar cravings)
Soon after we headed out into the neighborhood and unlike last year, our kids didn't need us at all and pretty much left us quite a few houses away from them.
Lyse was walking slow but made it to all the houses up to the very end.
She was so determined to carry all of her candy and would not let me transfer some to a bigger bag. She had candy spilling all over but, not to worry, mommy made sure it was all put in the bag so it was nice and safe. *smirk
The kids had a blast and it helped to have their cousins running right along with them.
It helped make the night special and memorable!
