Luke turns 6!

 As if it wasn't hard enough to watch my first born head off to Kindergarten, he turned a whopping 6 today!!! 
                                                 REALLY? 
                                               ALREADY?
Luke was SO excited for his birthday! He couldn't wait to spend his day at school so he could wear a star sticker and a birthday hat. That is all he talked about anticipating his birthday. He was also very excited that I was going to show up in his class and read everyone a book. I must say that I was also excited about this! I miss him during the day and often wonder what it's like in his class.

Luke requested pancakes for his birthday dinner. I must say that I was a bit relieved cause asking a six year old what they wanted could have been a pretty tricky task to accomplish. 

After a full day it was FINALLY time for Luke to get to his presents! 

The poor kid  had to wait ALL day for this.

 He was surprised by his buddies, Tobin, Jonah, Jace and Piper and a phone call from his buddy Jaden tonight. Special moments to help add to his great day!

He was pretty excited to find Star Wars pj's.

And realizing what this gift was he goes, "OH. MY! My very own MITT!"

He was also pretty excited to get spiderman magnets that he could color. 

It's so fun watching excitement pour out of this child. He was so giddy and hyper tonight. 

Soon after, Grandma and Grandpa showed up to celebrate.

He was thrilled to have them here tonight.

And finally, Cake time!
