Missouri Getaway

A few days after Christmas, we packed up and took a quick trip to Missouri to spend time with family.
We had such a great time and just love it there!

The first day we were there we headed over to Incredible Pizza.
It's a bit like Chuck E Cheese's and Haunted Trails only better.
YES. I said better.
We spent the whole time there trying to figure out how we could bring one to Joliet but realized it would take more money and energy than what we have at the moment.
After we ate and headed to the game room, Rog and Luke went one way, I took Liv and Annelyse went with her vacation mommy, Aunt Deanna.

After riding the kiddie rides, we took the kids on the go carts.

It was close until the first turn and then Rog and Luke were in first place the whole time and Liv and I humbly took last place. It's OK. We still had fun.
For being in first place, Luke won a ribbon that he proudly showed off to anyone that would listen.

After spending a few hours there, we did a bit of boot shopping (thanks to Kohls cash) and headed back home to get ready for a date night.
Alan and Deanna were so kind to take our kids for the night so that Rog and I could have a night out and enjoy their town.
When we returned home, we came back realizing we could have stayed out a bit longer due to the excellent babysitters.

If you can get my little ones to fall asleep in your arms then you are a pro in my book.
It was so sweet to walk in and see this. I didn't want to move her.

Day 1 was filled with games, fun, shopping, eating, movies and being rocked to sleep by the best vacation mommy. *wink
