This year was our first year of starting an advent tradition.
We bought the calendar last year but never got it ready in time.
This year, we were ready and excited to talk about the Christmas story every night.
Our kids LOVED it and it got to the point where after 15 nights they would scream the words that Rog would leave out. It was the highlight to my evenings.
Each night we took turns as to who got to put up a new piece of the story.
Annelyse even got to take a few turns.
This was definitely the BEST part to my December!

we got the calendar from the christian book magazine but it didn't come with a story for each day? Weird. not sure if we were supposed to just read the bible and make it up ourselves? We used Noel Piper's version and tweaked the animals a bit. It's not our favorite calendar but it worked this year.
