Happy 4th!

This year our 4th of July was spent with a morning of worship, a cookout at my parents house, swimming and fireworks with great friends and family!

I was way too busy enjoying the first part of my day that it completely slipped my mind to take pictures. The end of the night will have to show just how enjoyable our day was.

This has been a tradition for my family since I was a child. Most of us from church meet together to watch the fireworks. It seems to get larger and larger every year!  Good thing the field is large!

Luke is staying entertained before the fireworks begin.

It is such a blessing to be able to spend pretty much every holiday with both sets of parents!
The first blessing is that we live fairly close to both sets and the second blessing is that our parents get along pretty well with each other!
Having that makes special occasions so enjoyable!
I love the fact that my kids are growing up being so close to both sets of grandparents.

Liv was trying to smile but the flash was so bright.

And so they begin...

As soon as they started, the four of us ended up nestled up next to each other!
Probably the best part of the whole night!

That was until Liv had enough of the loud booms and ran to sit on whoever would take her!

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!!!
