This is the year?

ok so I am just sitting here trying to keep myself busy until the Cubs second playoff game is over. I was going to watch it up in my room while Rog watched it downstairs with some guys but Luke and Ian are up here watching a Franklin and I don't really mind because the cubs just aren't giving a good game right now and I would rather see a close game than watching a baseball game knowing they are so far behind and probably won't catch up.
I hate to say it but it is almost typical of the cubs when they get into the playoffs.
Seriously, it seemed like it all started back in 'O3 when they got so close. That was one of the first times I saw my husbands heart break (or should I say shatter into many small pieces) Since then, when they get into the playoffs he gets really excited and I think to myself that, "yeah, this could be the year. this could actually work to where the cubs do halfway decent and prove that they can pull it off"
Then I start to think about what it would be like after they won everything and it would be their year and....
well, so far they are two games into this and it's not looking so good.
I am a girl.
I shouldn't be thinking about things like this.
Sports are for guys and I should be doing other things like.........
