Wait!
Am I dreaming?
I must be dreaming because I don't recall having moments of silence around here. OH! It has to be midnight or later in order to sit down for more than five minutes and unfold the thoughts rolling around in my head. I say ROLLING because all day I feel like I have 50 things on my to do list and I can't grasp one item long enough before it rolls right past another item that I see and go after.
OK I will try to calm down and "just breathe"
Oh the peace of having the kiddies in bed, lights out and no noise except for the soothing sound of my dishwasher. There is just something about a dishwasher running at night. For me it tells me that the day is done, I am finished with kitchen duty and every dirty dish is now being cleaned by the best invention ever! I could seriously curl up anywhere in the house and listen to the dishwasher at night.
Enough about how I get my dishes cleaned!
This weekend was gorgeous and it was so lovely to get outside and have fun with friends and family!
We had a full weekend that's for sure!
We started off Saturday by going to Jaden Boe's 1st birthday party.
I didn't get many pics because I had another shower to attend but Rog and Luke stayed and had fun at the park.
I know it doesn't look like much is going on in this pic but behind the guys were many little children, screaming with laughter and running through fountains and sprinklers! Can't wait to see more pics of the party Heather!
Oh and just a little side note.~ Yes that is Olivia on the left and Sydney McCammack on the right. Yes, they are about the same size, NO they are not the same age, Yes, Sydney is almost 1 and No, Olivia is not on any sort of growing pills.~
Olivia and I ventured off to church for a baby shower! She seems just so thrilled to be there! The poor thing just wanted to sleep but couldn't bring herself to just relax and close her eyes.
Shortly after the shower, I called Rog and asked him what he thought about heading over to his parents house for a visit. They were free so off we went to GAMPA'S house (From the words of Luke)
Here is Luke and His Grandma after his monthly haircut! He does so well for his grandma! I think his favorite part is vacuuming everything up when she is done. Well, that was our Saturday!I am going to do my best to update more of our Memorial Weekend before too many days go by but bare with me if it takes me a while. I kid you not. I step one, not even one step away from the front of Liv's face and she acts as if I just took away her favorite toy. If she is awake and tired of entertaining herself ( which is most of the day it seems) she is nowhere else but in my arms grabbing at my hair or whatever is in her reach! She is getting pretty mobile with those arms of hers and she is getting to be pretty heavy and strong so trying to do anything while holding her is a hard task.
OH she may look cute and easy to take care of but realizing that her mother is gone or pre occupied and a whaling she will go! Hopefully Part #2 will be tomorrow!

I can so related to the sheer JOY of a quiet house...I laughed out loud when you were talking about listening to nothing but the dishwasher! So true, so true....
Hey, I love listening to the dishwasher at night too! That's so weird of us. There is a distinct sense of accomplishment when the dishwasher is running at the end of the day. I totally agree.
