Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was just hours after a great night but we could not wait to enjoy the day with the kids and family.

We started the morning off with the Christmas story.

Evangeline was enjoying a little nap on my lap while Rog read to the other kids.

When the story ended, we had a nice breakfast and ran back to open presents.

It was so much fun watching all of them open their gifts this year but was really excited to watch Lyse now that she was another year older and understood presents a bit more this year.

When presents were over, we enjoyed each other's company a bit, relaxed down stairs and slowly got ready for the day. We passed the time with some new Wii games and waited until it was time for dinner at Grandma 'Nette's.

It was a really long day so by the time we arrived to Grandma's, Lyse was out on the couch for a bit and Rog was feeling ill and went straight back to sleep a migraine off. Our Christmas night wasn't looking too energetic but that all soon passed and everyone seemed to get a second wind for the night.

Our lasagna dinner was very tasty and soon after the presents were being sorted.

We even were able to do a video chat with Jay, Karie, Reese, Callen and Nolan on Lynette's new computer.

Then it was time to test out the new presents.

Dolls, games, skates, pj's, legos... 

The kids seemed to have a pretty great day!

 It was such a wonderful Christmas!
