A Day At The Orchard

This Saturday was probably my absolute favorite for all of October!

I LOVE the days we spend together with just our little family.

This was also our very first time to ever go to an apple orchard.

We headed out extremely excited.However,a few miles before we arrived we were at a stand still in traffic and when we realized all the traffic was for the orchard, we felt as if we made a big mistake and was making this our first and only trip to get fresh picked apples.

We walked up to the entrance and it felt as if we were the only ones that had never done this before. It was packed and it seemed like we would get run over if we didn't follow the crowd.

Our mission.

Find trees.

Pick apples. 

Find donuts.

( they are known for their famous donuts)

Pay and GET OUT!

Well, all that was before we found the tractor to go out in the orchard.

It was all fun and smooth sailing after that. 

UMMM! TASTY!!!

Even Annelyse grabbed a few to try. Her first whole apple.

We even checked out some bees.

All in all it was a perfect day and even though it was an insane arrival, we would definitely go back.

We really had a blast and I think the best part was just seeing how many different kinds of apples are out there.

I never realized.
