Trying for that 'Perfect Pic'

Back in the Fall, I was outside playing with the kids and thought maybe I should take a few pics of them.

Professional pictures have been in the works for quite some time now but it just never seems to get accomplished!

We tried on Labor Day but after waiting an hour or so to get in, Liv decided she wasn't going to participate. The session ended after 5 horrid pics of our family, 4 crazy songs from Aunt Shanna trying to entertain Livy, (one of those being the chicken dance. Sorry Shanna) a couple of snacks to bribe her switch up the mood a bit and one stare down and stern voice saying, "Olivia Ann, that is ENOUGH. We WILL get these pictures taken."

As soon as that happened......

.....We walked out of the store to never return.

Because of that I thought, "Why not try this at home?

It's better than nothing at all."

And. Of course.

This one didn't turn out great either.

 

At least Lilly participated correctly.

The flowers are a 'stand in' for Lilliana. I made the agreement in my head at the hospital that whenever we need to take a family picture, a Lilly will also be there with us.

Well, If we have one available.

Until I am ready to let go of course.
